GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "T&Cs") apply to all sales of products concluded between Truffy Life (hereinafter "the Seller") and any natural or legal person making a purchase via the online store accessible at truffylife.com (hereinafter "the Customer"). These T&Cs are drawn up in accordance with French law, the European Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), as well as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for customers residing in the United Kingdom. Any order implies full and complete acceptance of these T&Cs.

3. PRODUCTS The products offered for sale are those presented on the site at the time of consultation by the Customer, subject to availability. The photographs and descriptions of the products are provided for information purposes only and are not contractually binding. The Seller reserves the right to modify its product catalog, prices, and characteristics at any time.

4. PRICES Prices are indicated in US dollars ($), euros (€), and pounds sterling (£) depending on the displayed currency. The Seller is not subject to VAT — therefore, no value-added tax is applicable or recoverable on purchases made. Delivery costs are indicated separately and summarized before the final validation of the order. For customers residing outside the European Union (including the United States and the United Kingdom), customs duties or additional fees may apply upon receipt of the order depending on local regulations. These costs are the sole responsibility of the Customer. The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time the order is validated.

5. ORDERS The Customer can place an order directly on the site by following the online purchasing process. The order is definitively validated after:

  • Selecting products and adding them to the cart

  • Checking and validating the cart

  • Entering delivery information

  • Choosing the payment method and validating

  • Receiving an order confirmation email

A confirmation email summarizing the ordered products, prices, delivery costs, and delivery address will be sent to the Customer after the validation of their order. The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of insufficient stock, payment issues, or suspected fraud, and will inform the Customer as soon as possible.

6. PAYMENT Payment is made online at the time of the order, using the following methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and any other payment method offered during checkout. Transactions are secured by an SSL encryption system. The Seller does not store any of the Customer's banking data. In the event of a declined payment or failure to pay, the Seller reserves the right to suspend or cancel the order.

7. DELIVERY Products are delivered to the address provided by the Customer during their order. The Seller delivers to the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. Standard delivery to the United States typically takes between 7 and 15 business days. Estimated delivery times are communicated at the time of the order. These times are given for information purposes and may vary depending on the carrier and the destination. A delay in delivery does not entitle the Customer to cancel the order or claim damages, unless the delay exceeds 30 days from the order date. In the event of a damaged or missing package upon delivery, the Customer must express reservations to the carrier and contact us within 48 hours of receipt at contact@truffylife.com. The risks associated with the products are transferred to the Customer upon physical delivery of the products.

8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK), the Customer has a period of 14 calendar days from the receipt of the products to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reasons. To exercise this right, the Customer must notify the Seller of their decision before the expiration of the period, by email to contact@truffylife.com. The refund will be processed within 14 days following the receipt of the request, using the same payment method used for the order. For more details, please consult our Return and Refund Policy.

9. LEGAL GUARANTEES All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in Articles L.217-4 and following of the Consumer Code (France/EU), and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (United Kingdom). In the event of a lack of conformity, the Customer may request the repair or replacement of the product, or failing that, a partial or total refund. This guarantee applies for 2 years from delivery for customers in the EU, and 6 years for customers in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

10. LIABILITY The Seller cannot be held liable for damages resulting from improper use of the purchased products, a force majeure event, or the actions of a third party. The Seller's liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All content on the site (texts, images, logos, descriptions) is the exclusive property of the Seller or its partners and is protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited without prior authorization.

12. PERSONAL DATA Personal data collected during the order is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU 2016/679) and the UK GDPR. It is used solely for processing and tracking orders, and is not transmitted to third parties without the Customer's consent, except to service providers necessary for the execution of the order (carriers, payment providers). The Customer has the right to access, rectify, delete, and port their data by contacting contact@truffylife.com. For more information, please consult our Privacy Policy.

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION In the event of a dispute, the Customer is encouraged to first contact customer service at contact@truffylife.com in order to find an amicable solution. Failing an amicable resolution, the Customer may use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform free of charge: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the event of a legal dispute, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction where the Seller's registered office is located, unless otherwise provided by applicable consumer law.

14. MODIFICATIONS TO THE T&CS The Seller reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. The applicable T&Cs are those in effect on the date of the order. Last updated: 05/06/2026
